What issues commonly arise during the daily use and storage of outdoor leisure chairs?

Material aging, fading, and cracking
This is the most common issue with outdoor chairs, particularly for wooden, fabric, and plastic chairs. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, wind, and rain causes wooden chairs to crack and warp due to moisture loss or absorption. Fabric chairs suffer fiber degradation from UV rays, leading to fading and pilling. Plastic chairs accelerate aging, becoming brittle and even developing cracks.
Loose Structure and Wobbling Instability
This frequently occurs in modular or metal-framed outdoor lounge chairs. One cause is rust and corrosion of screws and connectors due to prolonged exposure to outdoor temperature fluctuations and humidity, reducing their holding power. Another factor is wear from frequent use or uneven ground causing uneven stress distribution, further loosening the frame and creating safety hazards.
Stubborn Stains and Mold Spots
Outdoor environments cause chairs to accumulate dust, leaf sap, food residue, and other stains. Humid rainy seasons can foster mold growth. For instance, crevices in rattan chairs and fabric textures in upholstered chairs easily trap dirt. Metal surfaces exposed to salt (in coastal areas) or acidic rain may develop stubborn rust stains that compromise both aesthetics and longevity.
